Ladies AM-AM - Monday 6th September
A great turnout for the Ladies Am/Am with 108 players from 15 clubs across Wales and the borders.
They were greeted with heavy skies of grey cloud but as the day wore on the skies lightened and with little wind throughout it was a great day to play. All the ladies remarked as to how well the course was presented and what fantastic condition it was in especially as this was the third major competition in the past 3 days and the recent heavy rainfall the course took over the weekend.
The Am/Am scoring format is the 2 best scores to count on each of the holes so par for the day would be 72 points. All the teams in the prizes list scored well below par with 4th and 5th tying on 11 under par, 3rd place was 13 under par, 2nd place were one shot better - the 1st placed team were an amazing 17 under par!
As well as a successful day on the course the raffle money raised was donated to the Captain’s Charity - Combat Stress, so a big thank you from both the Men's and Ladies' Captains for your generous donations.
We hope everyone else enjoyed their day at Cradoc and we look forward to seeing you next year, watch the website for more details in due course for dates and entry booking details.
