Ali Hardaway PGA Professional, Teaching Professional
Ali has been playing golf since 1971 and was a junior member at Hindhead Golf Club in Surrey.
“It wasn’t long before my desire was to spend my life in the game.”
Ali turned professional in 1987 and at the same time he began his training. Ali qualified in 1991. Where he then took on the role as Club Professional at Sunbury Golf Club in Middlesex.
Ali had a successful playing career spanning for 15 years. Ali did well at regional and National level, winning tournaments and achieving top ten finishes, he mainly competed in the south region, but also abroad and nationally.
His passion has always been in coaching and helping others improve.
Ali has suffered with his back, which led him to focus his attention and focus on developing his coaching academy and set up Swing Check Golf Academy. This was operated at a Golf Driving Range in Farnham Surrey until 2021.

After a move to Wales in 2021 he joined Cradoc Golf Club as the PGA Golf Coach. Ali is passionate in growing the game of golf and bringing others to the sport, especially juniors and ladies.
Ali has a wealth of knowledge and experience in coaching, having worked with one of the best golf coaches in Europe for over 17 years, and running his own academy for 18 years.

Lessons & Coaching
Ali offers one to one coaching as well as group coaching.
Junior Development Program
Ali offers Junior Golf Coaching which is open to girls & boys from 5 years to 16 years of age.
This is held on a Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00. It is a 6 week consecutive block booking course at £55.
This program will help your child transform from a beginner into junior golfer, ready for regular play and membership.
Cradoc Golf Club is delighted to share that the club has been awarded Junior golfcert – the accreditation by Wales Golf to a club which demonstrate high standards in relation to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
New-to-Golf Programme – Get into Golf
This programme offers a series of lessons in group a setting. This program is five one-hour weekly lessons. The program introduces the learner to the five basic elements of golf: Driving, Iron play, Chipping, Bunker play, Putting.

Ladies New-to-Golf Programme
This is something Ali is passionate about. He wants to see more woman coming into the sport. He offers this as one to one coaching or in block group sessions. This is over a 10 week period, aimed at beginners or those new to golf.
Return to Golf Programme
This program is run over a 10 week. This is a ‘Get me started’ program that covers the basics to learning how to hit full shots.
Individual lessons are tailored to the player’s needs.
