With a superb championship standard golf course, exceptional practice facilities and a modern refurbished clubhouse everything is set up for the benefit and enjoyment of its members.
We provide a range of competitions and matches for all ages and abilities and have thriving Ladies’, Seniors’ sections. New members of all ages and abilities are always welcome. Whether you are new to the area or even new to the game there is no better or more welcoming club in which to learn, practice or play. Whilst for the serious golfer we offer all the challenge, competition and friendship you could ever need.
If you are a social golfer then you will find lots of opportunities to play golf with friends.
The Club’s different sections also offer you many opportunities to play competitive golf:
Seniors’ Section
All male golf members aged 55 years or over, are eligible to participate in Seniors’ Section events without an additional annual subscription. These include twice weekly competitions Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the year and friendly matches are organised, home and away, against neighbouring Clubs. Wayfarers
Cradoc is one of fifty South Wales clubs belonging to the Wayfarers’ Golf Society. The aims of the Society are to engender fellowship amongst the members, raise money for charity, and generally have a good time.
You need a handicap of 10 – 17 inclusive, a sense of team loyalty, and the time for the fixtures that are listed in the fixture book.

Ladies’ Section
Competitions are organised by the Ladies’ Section on most Thursdays during the year and entry to these competitions may be made by entering your name on the timesheets in the ladies’ changing room. Knockout matchplay competitions are also held and entry forms are available from the changing room or the club website.
Halletts
Cradoc members belong to the Halletts League of South Wales. The organisation runs league and cup matches for clubs within the league.
It is open to club members with an official club handicap of 18+. The Hallett League matches are made up of five pairs who play foursomes matches home and away.
New players always welcome.
Juniors
Coaching for junior golfers is something that is very important to both Teaching Professional and Cradoc Golf Club as a whole. We want to nurture the future members of our club so that they can enjoy a lifelong hobby over many years.
Junior Coaching is available from the professional staff every Saturday morning. This is a fun environment where juniors can learn the correct technique to play the game, develop their fundamental movement skills, make new friends and develop good etiquette and life skills that they can take forward into their adult lives.
Costs and Availability of Membership Options
Full Membership (Ladies & Men over 35)
The Full Membership packages offer several benefits including a 10% discount on all drinks purchased via the Bar, discounted access to balls used on the Driving Range, and Golf Club Network vouchers to obtain discounted green fee rates each year at 8 other leading South/Mid Wales Golf Clubs. Annual subscription for the period February 2024 to January 2025 is £840
The club operates a continuous Direct Debit option for the payment of subscriptions, which is available to all members (existing and new) at annual cost of £10 payable with the first instalment each year.
New Membership can be commenced at any point during the year, whereas if paying in full a pro-rata rate will be calculated in relation to the remaining months of the financial year.
New members who wish to join the DD scheme from the start are required to maintain payments for a minimum of 12 months, and must give 3 months’ notice of any intention to cancel.

Concessionary Membership
As a registered Community Amateur Sports Club, Cradoc GC also offers a concessionary rate for Full playing membership. This concessionary rate is available to any individual who can demonstrate restricted affordability/ low or modest incomes. Family Membership
Provides full membership for 2 adults and 1 child all living in one household. The child must be under the age of 15.
Price = £1680
Junior Membership
15 & under = £60.00
16-18yrs = £120.00

Colt Memberships
Cradoc GC offers a supportive staged subscription regime which assists young individuals to maintain the affordability of playing membership of the Club between 18 and 35 years of age.
We believe we offer attractive rates for ages:
18-21 and Student (in full-time education) = £200.00
22-25 = £370.00
26-30 = £530.00
31-35 = £740.00
Full Member = £840.00
The above categories carry full membership rights and entitlements.
Concessionary Membership

Social Membership – £25
For non-golfers this Membership entitles you to a 10% discount at our Club House bar, as well as a 5% discount off any Club functions. You will also receive our emails and club newsletters to keep you informed of Cradoc Golf Club activities.

Country Membership
Currently available for £350.00 per annum
(Country members must live outside a radius of 25 miles of Cradoc GC. Country members are not allowed to play in competitions or represent the Club in any club fixtures).

Two Months Taster membership = £110
The Club also runs a Two Months Taster membership scheme which allows individuals to have unlimited access to the course and club facilities for 2 x calendar months without any obligation to join.
If Full Membership is then something you would like to consider, we will DISCOUNT the whole of the £110 payment against your subsequent subscription invoice.

Unlimited Access to the Course
Being a member gives you the opportunity to play and access your home course 7 days a week, whether you enjoy the challenge of competition or a relaxing social game. Tee-time bookings can be made online or by telephone.
Competitive Golf
Only by being a member of the golf club can you play in our regular official club competitions. These are on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the summer and a flourishing Sunday League during the winter months.

If you don’t always have the time for 18 holes, you could choose only to play 9 holes, with our 9th green being near the clubhouse. Or, if its quieter, you can enjoy a smaller loop of 5 or 6 holes. And in the summer, you can tee off at 8pm and still get a round in!

Our Golf Teaching Pro offers club members a wide range of coaching services including playing lessons; beginner coaching and junior coaching.
Driving Range & Practice Facilities
Our members have fantastic practice facilities to improve their game. With ten covered outdoor bays coupled with a short game area as well as a putting green we offer the best practice facilities in the region.
